Nutrisystem Dinner Food Review – Week 1

Nutrisystem Dinner Food Review - Week 1

Thick Crust Pizza

Before starting on Nutrisystem I would not eat anything during the day. It wasn’t because I was trying to starve myself but normally I am just not hungry throughout the day because I am so busy working. Plus, I’m not cooking lunch for anyone but myself. I know it’s best to start with a good breakfast and eat right throughout the day instead of loading up on one large dinner. In the video below you’ll get to see some of the dinner items I tried in my first week on Nutrisystem. I really liked everything except for the meatloaf and mashed potatoes. The mashed potatoes were placed on the bottom with the meat on top and a very ketchup-like sauce. I’m not sure if it’s because I love my meatloaf or because of the taste. Some of the dinner products I tried this week:

  • Beef and Wedged Potatoes
  • Chicken Alfredo
  • Lasagna with Meat Sauce
  • Thick Crust Pizza
  • Meatload and Mashed Potatoes

This food does look appetizing. I know a few people who have tried Nutrisystem and liked it! Thanks for sharing!

  6. The thick crust pizza is not as good as it looks.. it gets old fast. I tried Nutrisystem a few times and while most of the food was alright I could not eat most of the dinners or lunches. I just did not care for them at all. The breakfasts and desserts are the best part of the plan. lol

  7. Peggy Greco says:

Nutrisystem foods look pretty good, just can’t afford to join.

  8. Chevy Reid Roper says:

I have thought about trying Nutrisystem but have put it off over and over again. I am like you were not eating during the day because I just wasn’t hungry. Everyone tells me all the time that it isn’t good for me not to eat and I need to start eating more. Looking at me though you would think that I eat too much. After seeing the food though, I may just give it a try. Thank you for sharing!!

  9. Sarah Northcutt says:

The menu doesn’t sound half bad!! Now Im craving meatloaf!!!

  19. That looks very appetizing! I’ve never tried any kind of weight or food service program with ready-to-go meals, but I would try Nutrisystem if given the choice! I would love to try them out because I too don’t eat at a regular scheduled time nor do I eat too frequently. I know that this is not a good habit!

  20. Love Nutrisystem because you don’t have to cook and less money sent on food at the store.

  21. Wendy Mastin says:

Pizza and diet? Wow and it even looks good.

  22. candess phillips says:

It would be excellent if you would let us know the cost of the meals you had during week one and where you obtained them. Curious, do they have to be prepared meals or can you sub your own recipes in while on the program?

    • Yes! I am going to include more information about each of the meals. I am working on videos to include more informational material too. I will also be doing a post on recipes. You can absolutely sub your own recipes. Online and in the daily planner are excellent resources for foods that you can eat and recipes. I will include more information about all of this in the next few weeks. Thank you for asking!

  23. Nutrisystem foods look pretty good, just can’t afford to join. Would like to lose some weight myself.

  24. Sania Akbar says:

Itz nice dish ..with chicken it will be more delicious ..

  25. Maria Iemma says:

My daughter and I tried Nutrisystem a few years back and we did not like the food…it left an aftertaste. Perhaps they have improved the flavor/texture. I wish you well with your journey.
